Soap and Glory Hand Cream, Facial Exfoliator, Body Scrub - Review, Photos & Swatches

Since Sephora opened its stores in India Delhi, I have started seeing quite a few reviews on Soap and Glory products from fellow Indian bloggers. And they all seem to be raving about them, which seems to be the general trend everywhere! Here is my view on some of their products that I have personally tried.

Blush Love - MAC Gingerly - Review & Swatches

This post has been long due since I always felt a tinge of guilt that I haven't yet written about my most favourite item of all in my makeup collection. Not just among blushers but amongst all products because the effect a single swipe of this product creates is pretty awesome!

Collective haul - Shopping the sales

This post features all the non-zara clothing pieces I picked up in the sales. They are all from New look or M & S.

Unlike the zara haul which I am so pleased with, these items are really good on their own but somehow I am unable to figure out how to wear them yet. Let me know in the comments below if you have any suggestions.

Floral dress
This is such a pretty summery floral print dress. But it is shorter than what I would typically wear. I am yet to purchase a good pair of stocking to be able to wear this dress. This cost £12 (Rs 960) from New Look.

ZARA Haul - shopping the sales

There are summer sales going on everywhere at the moment and I have picked up a few things here n there. I am not a massive sales shopper as cluttered shops tend to give me a headache. But there is a zara right next to my workplace and the shop is kept pretty orderly until about 6PM, so I try and do my shopping during my lunch hour.

I have only added pictures of what I hauled. I am yet to gather the courage needed to post styling pics as I have already worn some of these pieces on a recent trip to Scotland.

Leave a comment below if you would like to see ootd posts featuring some of these items. Without further ado let's jump right into the haul! Enjoy!

Roses jumper

I love this jumper and the vintage look of it. It is not chunky so you can still pull it off on a wet summer day.

Biotique Bio mud face mask review

Over the years I have tried several biotique products like their soaps, eye creams etc. It is one of those brands I have made up my mind about that all their products are gimmicky and nothing actually works. But everytime I go into a health n glow store to do my last minute shopping before my flight to london, I get sucked into buying something from them because my mind is already thinking in british pounds. Last time i was in chennai i bought this mud mask from them because at £2 (Rs 199) what did I have to lose right?!

My holy grail makeup remover - Sebamed baby cleansing bar

I love you baby!
You can read about my other HG skincare items here, here and here.
Makeup removal at the end of the day is an absolute must. But most days I am too tired lazy to go through the process of using a remover with a cotton pad etc. I want it to be quick and effective all the same. But I am wary of using soap for the fear that it might be stripping. I had a light bulb moment one day when I was thinking to myself how good sebamed baby products are. I use their lotion, bath soap and shampoo for my baby. They all smell pleasant and I really really like them all. The cleansing bar suited all my requirements for a makeup remover - soap free, non-drying, and very very quick. No need to be faffing around with wet cotton pads and then follow it up with a face wash when all you want to do is hit the sack! That is how I discovered the best makeup remover EVER! Moreover if it is good for a baby's skin it shouldn't be too bad on mine.

Ponds Age Miracle Night Cream Review

I thought it is only appropriate to write a post about the night cream immediately after reviewing the Ponds age miracle day cream. Just like I thought it totally appropriate to buy the night cream because I loved the day cream! And it turns out I really really like the night cream too. I had to buy the full size which retails for Rs 450 since this does not come in a smaller version unlike the day cream.

Ponds Age Miracle Day Cream Review

I bought the ponds age miracle day cream on recommendation from my neighbour aunty in Chennai. She uses it and she looks very fresh all day, morning, mid-afternoon and evening!!! When I asked her what product she uses she said "Some cream by ponds, the one with the red cap" :P

I do not really care for anti-ageing stuff, not that I want to age quickly, but it is going to take a lot  more than a small tub of cream to convince me that I can get younger looking skin!

My first experience with OPI Nail Lacquer – Tickle my France-y

Nail polish is one of those things I do not like spending a lot of money on.

1)      I do not wear it that often and
2)      There are a number of cheap polishes that give really great results

OPI polishes are expensive. My nearest John Lewis stock them and I think they are priced at £12 each, nail lacquer priced in double digits :O

My epidural experience - Giving birth in Chennai

After the interest I received from my pregnancy weight-loss post, I thought I will write more pregnancy related posts when they are still relatively fresh in memory. When I saw my baby for the first time through my tired eyes, I thought how beautiful she was and willed myself to never forget that moment. But my abysmal memory is already starting to fail me :( I wish they invent some technology similar to Dumbledore’s pensieve

Blush love - MAC Plum Foolery

My love for blush began with this baby! I have owned it for 3 years now and still love it to death, the images below stand proof to this statement!

Looks battered after 3 years of constant use!
As the name suggests it is a true berry plummy shade with light shimmer. The shimmer is
